About filling Station

filling Station Publications Society is a literary nonprofit located in Calgary, Canada which exists to support emerging and established writers and innovative new writing by publishing filling Station Magazine and by delivering a diverse program of cross-genre outreach events. 100% volunteer based and without ANY paid advertising, filling Station's operations are supported by its readership and gratefully acknowledges publishing assistance from granting organizations including Canada Council for the Arts, Alberta Foundation for the Arts, and Calgary Arts Development Authority. filling Station was incorporated as a nonprofit in 1994.
